Abstract: Distillery spent wash is the unwanted residual liquid waste generated during alcoholic

production and pollution caused by it is one of most critical environmental issue. The residue

after distillation has a high content of ash especially calcium sulphite and other nutrients such

as N, P, and K etc. If the residue is to be used as animal feed then the cattle can produce

more amount of milk than the normal feed. So this paper gives a view the waste which is

produced from the distilleries can be recycled as a fodder for cows and buffaloes to get more

milk production which is safe and cheaper method and also safe for the environment to reduce
