Techsonance 2012, Osmania University, Technical Fest, Hyderabad, Andhra  Pradesh, March 9-10 2012            Since its inception, TECHSONANCE has been hosting a huge array of innovating events. From research papers to intellectual designing events, from innovative workshops to inspiring guest lectures, TECHSONANCE has been fostering the jewel of inspiring creativity and innovation.  This time, TECHSONANCE 2012, has also geared up with the same objectives but renovated  And with a desire to fly higher than before, and providing a platform for enthusiastic  Engineers to help them reach the pinnacle in the realm of ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGY.

The Department started in the form of an Electro-Techniques Laboratory as a part of the Civil Engineering Department. The full-fledged Department of Electrical Engineering came into being in 1949 to offer B.E in Electrical Engg. Presently, the Department is offering B.E in Electrical & Electronics Engg. Continuing Education for employed diploma holders was started in 1963 through the four-year Part-Time diploma course in Electrical Engineering. The Post-graduate course in Electrical Machines was started in 1966. Later, in the year 1987, B.E in Instrumentation was offered.
