Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology (VBIT), established in the year 2004 is committed to offer courses at graduate and post-graduate level. Along with imparting top-echelon academic education to its students, the institution has also made its prime focus on giving the students the maximum technical exposure. Now, Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology under IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) banner presentsSamvikshan'12 this year. Samvikshan'12 is a state level technical fest organized by IEEE-VBIT student Branch aiming at expanding the horizons of science and technology. On the occasion of the National Science Day, marking the greatest discovery "The Raman Effect" by the Nobel Laureate Sir C. V. Raman, the event is dated on 02nd and 03rd of March, 2012. This fest allows students all over india to participate and to test their mettle in a wide platform. This event is one of the biggest events conducted by IEEE-VBIT student branch till date. VBIT is known for its love for technical events and the way they are held. From conducting a Ethical hacking workshop to paper presentation competition, there has always been a mix of fun and engineering. Here at SAMVIKSHAN we are offering you to look at the world through the lenses of a camera and visualize your dreams and ideas and put it in form of short film. At SAMVIKSHAN we are offering everyone a chance to shoot a film based on a theme. VBIT is always encouraging its students to express their ideas in numerous form of ways and we are honoured to present you an event where art and science are equally involved. The theme is the idea behind SAMVIKSHAN-"Expanding the horizons of Science". Movie making contest as specified is based on a science theme. The interested participants from various colleges will send their movies via mail and the best 10 movies will compete on 03/03/12 and the best movie of the lot will be handsomely rewarded.

They see the way you present it. They way you put your points. You have to first arrange the information according to your topic and then you have to prepare the "Abstract"(It is the details in short i.e., not exceeding more than two pages). RULES AND REGULATIONS: ·Team size is restricted to maximum of two members. · The paper must be typed two column single-spaced in 12-point Times New Roman or Arial font and be no more than 300 words. Only text directly related to the item being presented and any accompanying illustrations, tables, figures, etc. ·Title pages, tables of contents, and bibliographies shall be counted toward the given limit. (IEEE format). · Each team entrant must formally present his or her paper at the day of the event. Typically, a professional poster involves showing your work to numerous researchers at a conference or seminar. As the viewers walk by, your poster should quickly and efficiently communicate your research. Unlike the fast pace of a slide show or verbal presentation, a Poster Session allows viewers to study and restudy your information and discuss it with you one on one. You may also be required to give short oral presentation on your research. An effective poster should answer the What's, the How's and the Why's of the work that you have done. You should examine critically, the approach that you have taken and the results that you have got. Opening on 27/02/12 and 28/02/12 with a gala event of amazing technical events performed by students from all over Hyderabad. The event promises to be the ultimate multi-disciplinary and versatile celebration of science. The culmination of the Fest will be a two-day Expo, that will give over all science & engineering organizations from all over the Hyderabad the opportunity to present themselves with a hands-on, fun science activity to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. A rocking event by the Robo-Synagog team. This will be an inter college fest where students from all around will participate with their bots and will compete with each other to win amazing cash prizes.
