Xion
Robomania Unleashed
Amazing machines are being conceived and built in labs, universities, and even garages all over the world. XION is your chance to meet and make robots. Each year XION intends to inspire, educate, and entertain young, budding engineers from all over India through live robot competitions and ingenious technical paper presentations related to robotics and its applications. So, whether you're building your first line-follower or finishing off the perception layer in your home-made positronic brain, XION gives you the opportunity to get a breathtaking view of the cutting edge technology of today. Some of our featured contests include Dead Chest Island (robots work with wit and focus, collecting coins, all out in adventure mode), Robowars (robots on the battlefield), Robotic Tasks (achieving the specified task refllects the robot's forte), Time Crusaders (racing against the clock) and RoboFesta (fashion show for robots). Non-technical events like Pro-Gaming, Treasure Hunt, Map D Snap and Spell Bee pave the way for an exciting experience.
As XION sets the battlefield for your robot, get ready to be rewarded for robotic exuberance, get padded up for the battle and register now!
The Robotics Club of SRM University, Vadapalani aims to form an elite group of students who can participate in national and international robotics contests and events, and make significant contributions to the field. The club aims to make the field of robotics as simple and interesting as making a paper rocket by familiarising students with the latest trends and cutting edge technology used in the field. Through this club, students with a flair for construction, design and automation get access to the best tools and facilities to bring their ideas to life.
