Helios is a one-of-a-kind platform for students to rub shoulders with academia, entrepreneurs, industry bigwigs and policy makers from the fields of energy and sustainability. The inaugural event on March 18, 2012 features competitions, workshops, quizzes, lectures, exhibitions, etc. on a plethora of topics such as energy efficiency, green buildings, entrepreneurship, solar photovoltaics, policy making and much more. Our vision is to generate awareness and concern about global and national energy issues among the youth. Ultimately the aim is to ingrain the value and importance of energy in the public consciousness; to bring to people's notice the fact that energy is as important as money, and that money and energy both go hand in hand with progress. |
